Fans have been waiting for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 for a long time now. Although we got a brief teaser and some key visuals for the Entertainment District Arc, the anime's release date has not yet been announced. However, that could change soon as Demon Slayer teased that an exciting update is set to drop next week.

The first season of Demon Slayer is currently airing on Fuji TV where the episodes have been split by story arc. For instance, the Koyashiki arc and Spider Mountain arc episodes will be broadcast on September 18 and 19, respectively. Next week, both the Hashirago meeting and Butterfly House arc will air on September 23.

The Season 1 marathon will conclude on September 25 with the TV premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie - Mugen Train. It is believed that the latest update on Demon Slayer Season 2 could be connected to the "special news" that was previously teased by the anime's Twitter account.

It was previously confirmed that the first cours of Demon Slayer Season 2 is set to premiere in Fall 2021. This means there are only a few weeks left and the trailer for the second season has yet to be dropped. Hopefully, we'll finally get the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date and trailer before the end of September.

The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba takes place right after the events in Mugen Train. The Entertainment District arc brings Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke to the Yoshiwara red-light district where they work with the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in tracking down a powerful demon.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie - Mugen Train is set for its TV debut on Fuji TV on September 25, 2021. Fans are advised to keep an eye out for the trailer for Demon Slayer Season 2 right after the broadcast.
