Demon Slayer Season 2 First Cours Confirmed for Fall 2021


The wait for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is almost over. It has been confirmed that the second season of the beloved anime will be split into two cours with the first one being broadcast in Fall this year.

It's no secret that Demon Slayer Season 2 is expected to premiere before the end of the year. So it's no surprise that the official Demon Slayer Twitter account has confirmed that the new season will air every Sunday on Fuji TV. The first set of episodes will be dropped in Fall 2021 followed by the latter set being released in Winter 2022.

Interestingly, the announcement came with a tease on special news being dropped later on September 25. Although it was not revealed what the update will be about, there's a good chance that it's the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date and trailer.

The date was not chosen by chance. It was previously reported that the first season of Demon Slayer will be broadcast again over the course of five days.

On September 11 with the Brother-Sister bond arc. It will be followed by the Asakusa arc on September 12 and the Koyashiki arc on September 18. On the fourth night September 19, the Spider Mountain arc will be broadcast while the Hashirago meeting and Butterfly House arc is set to air on September 23. It all ends with the Demon Slayer movie Mugen Train, which airs on September 25.

There is a huge possibility that the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date will be announced right after Mugen Train's broadcast. This could be done in the form of the official Season 2 trailer being dropped as soon as the movie is over.

The Demon Slayer Season 1 marathon kicks off on September 11.
