We're finally getting more updates on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 now that the release date has been revealed. That means a new key visual for the recently announced Mugen Train arc in the second season. Not surprisingly, the poster puts the spotlight on the epic showdown between Rengoku and Akaza.

Last weekend, it was confirmed that Demon Slayer Season 2 will kick off with the Mugen Train arc starting with an episode about Rengoku before he boarded the train. Episodes 2 to 7 will then serve as an extended version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train.

So what should we look forward to in the first seven episodes of Demon Slayer Season 2? The new poster confirms that we should expect an even more epic fight between Rengoku and Akaza.

We're loving this new poster considering that everyone is hyped up over the idea of more Rengoku in the anime. Many people believed that the Fire Hashira appeared too briefly in the anime and the movie and that Rengoku deserved more screentime. Luckily, that's exactly what we're getting in Demon Slayer Season 2.

The Mugen Train arc is getting a new opening theme Akeboshi (Morning Star) and ending theme Shirogane (Silver). Both songs are performed by LiSA.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will premiere with the Mugen Train arc on October 10, 2021. The Entertainment District arc, which will feature the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, will be broadcast starting December 5, 2021.
