There's still a lot of things to unpack in the latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 and fans are still freaking out over Nezuko Kamado's demon form opening a can of whoop-ass on Daki. However, Episode 14 also confirmed that Tanjiro Kamado's sister has a weakness and although it isn't a bad thing, it's quite heart-wrenching.
In Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 14, Nezuko continued to fight with Daki, who is shocked by her opponent's strength and regenerative powers. The Upper Rank demon also discovers Nezuko's Blood Demon Art is dangerous to demons as her blood burns them.
The fight only makes Nezuko more delirious as she kicks Daki so hard that she sends the demon crashing through many houses. Unfortunately, the damage injures people and Nezuko is unable to suppress her bloodlust.
Luckily, Tanjiro jumps in to keep his sister from killing people but he is barely hanging on and desperate to calm her down. That's when Tengen Uzui steps in to decapitate Daki and advises Tanjiro to put Nezuko to sleep by singing her a lullaby.
The desperate Tanjiro sings a lullaby that their mother used to sing for Nezuko which soon reminds her of the time when she was a child. The memories were enough to reach Nezuko, who begins to cry herself to sleep and go back to her child-like state.
It's an expected weakness considering that family is important to the Kamados. Although remembering her slaughtered family made Nezuko tap into her demon form, sweet memories of their beloved mother also helped calm her down. Needless to say, she is a truly unique demon and we'll get to learn more about how she operates in the next episodes.
