Demon Slayer Season 2: Entertainment District Arc Closing Theme Revealed

The Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is officially here and that means new music for the anime. We already saw the opening scene last week where it was played at the episode's end. This week, the new closing theme has been revealed along with an amazing sequence.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 10 concluded with the new closing sequence which featured the song Asa ga Kuru ("Daybreak") by Aimer. The sequence is more laidback than its opening counterpart and features the main characters sleeping peacefully. It also features several strips of cloth moving through the air. Check it out below.

It's a gorgeous sequence with an amazing closing theme to match. The sequence is also a great way to show a different side of the Entertainment District arc which is expected to be a bloody one. The peaceful side of the story arc is clearly about the bond between the Demon Slayer Corps. They might not always get along but they sure look calm when they're sleeping.

The latest episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 finally brought us to the Yoshiwara red-light district which initially proved too much for Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira. However, they managed to calm down and listen to Tengen Uzui's plan. It is revealed that Uzui's three wives have been working as scouts in several Houses in the district and although they have been sending him letters, they have since ceased all communications. Uzui intends to plant the boys as new spies to look for the women.

But will they find Uzui's missing wives before it's too late? We'll have to wait again for next week to find out.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 10 is titled What Are You? ("Nanimono?") and will premiere on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
