Demon Slayer Movie Mugen Train to Stream on Funimation Next Week

There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train has already achieved so much during its North American theatrical release. However, it looks like the film is set to achieve even more this month. The anime flick has been confirmed to begin streaming on Funimation next week.

Mugen Train was initially released in Japan in October last year where it was an instant hit. However, the Demon Slayer movie, which served as the sequel to the show's first season, would not be released in the US until April 2021. The long wait certainly had fans fired up for the film and it became the highest-grossing Japanese film and anime film of all time.

But if you still didn't get enough of the Kimetsu no Yaiba film, you can look forward to its digital release. Funimation confirmed the Demon Slayer movie will stream exclusively on the platform next Tuesday.

This is great news for those who haven't been able to watch Mugen Train in theaters earlier this year. Luckily, you can finally enjoy it in the comfort of your own home next week.

The Demon Slayer movie digital release is expected to hype up the anime's second season which is now set to premiere in Fall 2021. After all, Demon Slayer Season 2 will serve as a sequel to the film.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train will stream exclusively on Funimation starting June 22, 2021. Demon Slayer Season 2, which is officially titled Yukaku-hen, has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere in October 2021.
