The second episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is finally here and it gave us a truly awesome treat. While the premiere episode started and concluded without the show's new themes, Deep Slumber featured the new opening and closing sequences for the second season. Not surprisingly, fans are loving the new LiSA songs that have replaced Gurenge and from the edge.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 2 opened with the brand-new opening sequence featuring Akeboshi by LiSA. The sequence also put the focus on Tanjiro Kamado and Rengoku Kyojuro and shows off some of the key scenes in the Mugen Train arc.

The closing sequence is less action-packed but pulls at the heartstrings. It features the song Shirogane by LiSA and offers a glimpse at Tanjiro and Rengoku's childhood. It's a sweet yet dynamic way to show off the contrasts and similarities between the young Demon Slayer and the Flame Hashira.

Back in September, it was confirmed that Demon Slayer Season 2 will feature new opening and closing themes for both the Mugen Train arc and Entertainment District arc. While the new songs for the second season's first arc will still be performed by LiSA, the themes for the Entertainment District arc are from Aimer.

The new opening and closing sequences will be featured in Episode 2 until Episode 7 which will all depict the Mugen Train arc. In Episode 8, both sequences will be replaced again, this time with Aimer's songs to fit the Entertainment District arc.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 2 is titled Deep Slumber and adapts the first 10 minutes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train. The next episode of the second season will premiere on October 24, 2021.
