Demon Slayer Season 2: Entertainment District Arc Finale to Be 45 Minutes Long

The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Kimetsu no Yaiba: YÅ«kaku-hen) is coming to an end, and Ufotable, the studio behind the anime series based on Koyoharu Gotoge's popular manga, is making the finale of the Entertainment District Arc special. On Monday, the official website of the anime announced that, just like the first episode of the season, the 11th and final episode will be 45 minutes long, and will be titled "Nando Umarekawatte mo" (No Matter How Many Times I Am Reborn).

Warning: Spoilers from Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc Episode 10 ahead.

The 10th episode that aired on Feb. 6 ended with yet another cliffhanger. When all seemed lost and the battle against Daki and Gyutatro would end with the main characters defeated, the tides change once more as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Tengen, and Inosuke made one final desperate effort to take down the Upper Moon siblings.

Although the demon slayers managed to behead both Upper 6 at the same time, Gyutaro's headless body seemingly self-destructed, destroying everything around him and leaving our heroes' fate unclear for now.

The award-winning anime series first premiered in April 2019, and a film adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was released during the panedemic on Oct. 16, 2020, and it eventually broke box office records in Japan. Last October, a 7-episode TV adaptation of the Mugen Train Arc was released before the Entertainment District Arc started in December 2021. The original story of the manga is already done, having been completed last May.

The final episode of Demon Slayer's Entertainment District Arc will air on Sunday, February 13.
