Demon Slayer Creator Koyoharu Gotouge Still Undecided on Next Manga Project

There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most successful media franchises out right now. Although the manga has already ended, the anime and its film are proving that fans simply can't get enough of Koyoharu Gotouge's creation. But what's next for Gotouge? It has just been revealed that the creator is still unsure about their next manga project.

The revelation comes from Kohei Onishi in a recent interview. The Weekly Shonen Jump media editor was asked for updates on Demon Slayer and Onishi stated that Gotouge "still hasn't decided or started any next work."

The news comes as a surprise for fans who have been hoping for updates on a possible Demon Slayer spin-off. On the other hand, Gotouge had previously indicated that they already had an idea for their next project.

For now, we are still unsure about Gotouge's plans for their next work. In the meantime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train continues to take the world by storm. The film is currently dominating the US box office with its theatrical release and has gone on to become the highest-grossing anime movie of all time.

So what's next for Demon Slayer? It has been confirmed that Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting a second season titled Yukaku-hen. However, Season 2's release date has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
