The animated series Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons is finally getting a movie and the explosive first trailer confirms we'll get to see Slade Wilson's origin story.
The trailer opens with Slade being told that the army initially thought that the drug used on him didn't work. However, it only took a little more time before the drug eventually turned him into Deathstroke. Not surprisingly, it doesn't take long before we get into the action. For starters, Slade's son is kidnapped and it causes him to go rogue.
The synopsis for Deathstroke Knights & Dragons: The Movie reads as follows:
The film stars Fantastic Four actor Michael Chiklis as Deathstroke, Sasha Alexander as Addie Wilson, Chris Jai Alex as The Jackal, Faye Mata as Jade/H.I.V.E Queen, Griffin Puatu as Joseph/Jericho, and Delbert Hunt as Bronze Tiger. It is directed by Sung Jin Ahn of Niko and the Sword of Light. The movie has not yet been given an official release date but will be released by Warner Bros. Animation later this year.
