Seo In Guk as Choi Yi Jae
The cast of Death's Game is spearheaded by Seo In-guk, who stars as Choi Yi-jae, a man who has gotten tired of life's ups and downs.
In a series of unfortunate events, Yi-jae loses his job, gets dumped, and ends up losing his savings after a Bitcoin scam. He decides to kill himself, but this offends Death (played by Park So-dam).
As a result, Death punishes him by going through 13 lives. Every time he wakes up, he is a new person on the brink of death. If he manages to find a way to survive, he can live out the rest of his life as the person he turned into.
In-guk is famous for winning the talent reality show, Superstar K in 2009. After this, he became an actor, launching his career in Love Rain. Some of his other shows include Reply 1997, Navillera, Cafe Minamdang, and Doom at Your Service.
Park So Dam as Death
As mentioned, Park So-dam plays the character of Death. After he attempts to kill himself, she punishes Yi-jae by going through 13 other lives.
So-dam is most famous for starring in the movie, Parasite. Her other Kdramas include Cinderella with Four Knights and Record of Youth.
Death's Game is So-dam's return to TV after taking time off from her fight against papillary thyroid cancer.
