Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me has officially dropped, introducing viewers to Seo Hee Soo (Han Ji Hyo) and Shi Ho (NCT’s Doyoung). As fans wait for another set of three episodes, TVING releases a new poster to tease what is about to come.
Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me is a romance drama about a magical notebook that can make anyone fall in love with its owner for a month. Seo Hee Soo, a college student and aspiring lyricist, stumbled upon the journal and would later find herself involved with many guys, including her best friend, Jung Shi Ho.

The poster features the characters of Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me: Han Ji Hyo, Do Young and Kwon Ah Reum.
It seems to show the story of friendship between the three, but the text on the image alludes to a romantic turn of events.
“Is there an expiration date between us, too?” it reads.

According to Soompi, the text hints at the love and friendship of these three people. It also raises questions about the future of Hee Soo after meeting a young guy, Park Jun Young (Kim Ji Hoo), at the library and started going out with him.

Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me premiered on Thursday, July 14. It introduced the relationships between the characters whose lives were all intertwined. They were best friends from high school, drinking buddies and co-workers.
The first three episodes showed the story of Hee Soo, who finally had the first romance she had been dreaming of, thanks to her special lyric notebook.

Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me Episodes 1 to 3 dropped at the same time. It started with a dream where Hee Soo was kissing her lover, but she ended up puking blood.
She later rushed to the school, made plans with her best friend and hit on Gang Wook, her crush.
Leisure Byte noted it has a familiar theme of a one-sided lover, where the woman doesn’t understand her guy best friend’s feelings for her. She, too, could be seen following Gong Wook around.
Just like an ordinary school girl, Hee Soo has her own set of problems, from her relationship with Shi Ho to her insecurities to her family.

Hee Soo started to receive attention after finding the magical notebook. However, it also comes with consequences.
With her lack of confidence, everything becomes too overwhelming for her. She comes up with bad decisions and viewers probably know how things will turn out after that.
The third episode ended with Hee Soo’s first heartbreak; her past traumas had returned to haunt her and viewers saw the baggage she was carrying.
As it seemed to be the result of her magical notebook, would Hee Soo stop using it? Would she and Shi Ho admit their feelings for each other?
