Ryan Reynolds may be playing a mutant who can miraculously heal and regenerate himself but even Mr. Pool isn't immune to the threat of the COVID-19 virus. In fact, it looks like our fearless hero isn't taking things lightly and he's also concerned about the virus which has already taken millions of lives worldwide.
Now, Reynolds reveals that he finally got himself vaccinated amid the dueling argument between folks who support vaccination and those to believe that vaccines could do more harm than good, thanks to the conspiracy theories that have circulated all over the internet since the start of the pandemic last year.
Taking to his official social media pages, the former Green Lantern actor shared that he finally got vaccinated and in true Ryan Reynolds fashion, poked fun at the conspiracists who came up with the obnoxious theory that the virus originated from cellphone and 5G service. Ryan hilariously wrote: "Finally got 5G." Check it out here:
It's great to know that the actor is among the people who are taking precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic and what even more amazing is the fact that he uses his platform to spread awareness about the deadly virus. Now, if you still believe that the entire COVID-19 situation is just a made-up thing, it's time you take it seriously as more and more people are dying from it each day.
Meanwhile, speaking of Mr. Pool, Reynolds is reportedly already developing the script for his third Deadpool film which will mark the fourth-wall-breaking hero's highly-anticipated arrival to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While details about the sequel are still being kept under wraps, it'll be interesting to see how Deadpool will be able to co-exist with other MCU heroes considering Disney is pretty much a company geared towards a more family-friendly product. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
