Deadpool, Iron Fist, and Miles Morales Take On 'Absolute Carnage' This August

Marvel's Absolute Carnage is going to be the biggest Venom event ever so, naturally, there are going to be a bunch of tie-in issues. The event will focus on how Carnage controls everyone who has ever been in contact with the symbiote, with Venom and a few other heroes being the only ones who can stop him. Thanks to Newsarama, we now know some of the heroes who will be fighting alongside Eddie Brock and his symbiote.

Spider-Man (Miles Morales) will get his own series called Absolute Carnage: Spider-Man, which will last three issues. Current Spider-Man writer Saladin Ahmed will be writing the series so fans of his current run should probably pick this up. Carnage artist Clayton Crain will provide covers and Federico Vincentini will illustrate the series.

Deadpool will also get in on the action with Absolute Carnage: Deadpool. Like Spider-Man, this will also be a three-issue series, written by veteran writer Frank Tieri and drawn by Marcelo Ferreira, with Tyler Kirkham doing covers for all three issues. This isn't the first time Deadpool has taken on the Spider-Man villain as Cullen Bunn's Deadpool vs Carnage mini-series came out a few years ago and was a good time.

Finally, we have Absolute Carnage: Lethal Protectors. This is fairly interesting since it has heroes like Iron Fist, Morbius, Cloak, and Dagger protecting civilians from Carnage. This should be good and Frank Tieri will, once again, write this three-issue mini-series. Alberto Jimenez Alburquerque will illustrate these comics while Batgirl artist Bengal will provide covers.
