Deadpool Gets the Crown and a Shiny New #1 This November

Deadpool is currently one of the most popular characters in Marvel Comics, thanks to his fourth-wall-breaking antics and wildly popular R rated movies. However, he is currently without a comic book, since his most recent series ended last month. Unsurprisingly, this won't last long since Marvel has just announced a new Deadpool #1 coming out in November, with an all-star creative team.

This new comic has an amazing creative team comprised of Kelly Thompson, who wrote the stellar Rogue and Gambit series along with its sequel Mr. and Mrs. X, with Chris Bachalo providing art for the series. Bachalo has drawn some of the best Spider-Man comics you'll ever lay your eyes on so we can't wait and see what he has in store for The Merc With a Mouth.

Interestingly enough, this new comic was announced in Marvel's The Pull List, which we don't always see. If anything, it's nice to see the comic book giant try new things to advertise their new comics. Unfortunately, one thing they fail to do is tell us the comic book's concept, only really revealing that he will be the king of...something?

At least he has a sweet crown.

While Deadpool comics can be hit or miss, there is plenty of reason to be excited about this new series. As someone who has read Kelly Thompson's comics in the past, she is an exceptionally funny writer and we can't wait to see how she handles Wade Wilson. Having a superstar artist like Chris Bachalo also helps a lot.

Deadpool #1 comes out this November.
