Deadpool Creator Rob Liefeld Announces He’s Quitting Twitter

There are several types of celebrities on Twitter, and one of the more vocal ones have been Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld. As it turns out though, Liefeld is officially quitting Twitter, but you can still follow him on his Instagram.

Check out his post:

Liefeld didn't really specify as to why he was quitting Twitter, but based on how open he is with his tweets, I can imagine that he's under a lot of stress when it comes to the animal that is Twitter fandom. Sure you get nice responses from fans from time to time, but there are also those no-holds-barred responses from people who have no intention of being civil online.

Of course, you have your celebs that could handle it like The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson and Mark Hamill, but some people just put their foot down and just end up quitting to save themselves from the stress; just look at Kelly Marie Tran and Daisy Ridley.

As of now, Liefeld is actually still on Twitter, and he's been responding to a lot of the hate comments that he's been getting. At almost 100k followers, I'd think it would be a waste for him to quit now. What are the odds he gets cold feet and just ends up staying after all?

For now, you can check out Liefeld's recent work with the Major X comic. As for Deadpool, we still have no idea when he's coming back onscreen, but rumor has it that Disney is prioritizing his introduction to the MCU.
