Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be dealing with "superhero fatigue" as of late but it's pretty safe to say that they'll always have a soft spot for Deadpool.

With only a few months away from the fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero's highly anticipated MCU debut, the fandom's excitement is only amplifying, especially with reports that Deadpool 3 will be unveiling its official trailer at this month's SuperBowl.

Now, it appears that the official title for the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman crossover film has leaked online and all we can say is that it's a far cry from what most people are expecting.

A no-brainer title would be "Deadpool & Wolverine" but apparently, Wade Wilson and Logan's team-up flick will be called Deadpool & Friend. That's according to an alleged leak that has been setting the social media world ablaze.

Hollywood insider MyTimeToShineHello shared the rumored title card for the threequel which carries the two mutants' colors. As far as titles go, this is certainly not what most fans expected. Check it out here:

Nothing official has been announced yet but fans are already displeased with the rumored title.

Of course, there's also a good possibility that it's just the film's working title but in hindsight, Deadpool & Friend isn't exactly off-brand considering how wacky the Merc with the Mouth is.

The first two Deadpool films were undoubtedly some of the best comic book films ever created and it will be intriguing to see how Marvel Studios tops them, considering Disney's trademark tone that is more geared towards families.

It's worth mentioning though that Deadpool 3 is going to retain its R-rating, at least that's what director Shawn Levy claims but of course, it's still the House of Mouse we're talking about so you can never be so sure.

Marvel Studios' Deadpool 3 is slated to hit cinemas this July 26.
