Deadpool 3 Might not Bring Back Morena Baccarin's Vanessa

There is little doubt that people are hoping to get some news about Deadpool 3. Interestingly, even the stars of the first two films are waiting for updates as well. Morena Baccarin has just revealed that she hasn't received a call about doing the third movie and it has fans concerned that Vanessa might not be back.

Baccarin recently took part in Entertainment Weekly's Couch Surfing where she was asked if Vanessa will play a larger role in Deadpool 3. Sadly, the former Gotham star admitted that there have been "no conversations" about her possible return in the sequel.

"I have no idea," Baccarin said. "Apparently, they're still writing it."

Interestingly, Baccarin added that the producers have not called her about reprising her role in the film just yet. "I genuinely don't know. I have not been asked, or approached. There's been no conversations yet, so I'm waiting with bated breath," she said.

Of course, it's possible that the movie is still in early development and producers are taking their time with the project. On the other hand, some fans are already concerned that this could mean Vanessa's expected transformation into Copycat is no longer something that will be explored in the third film. Nevertheless, we're hoping to get some positive updates on Deadpool 3 later this year.

Ryan Reynolds is already expected to return as Wade Wilson in the sequel. However, plans for the project have not yet been announced by Disney and Marvel Studios, which will be producing Deadpool 3.
