Deadpool 2 comes out next week, and the marketing team has gotten David Beckham to help promote the movie. A new clip has been released of Deadpool trying to apologize to Beckham for his comment in the first Deadpool film.
"Ever heard David Beckham speak? It's like he mouth-sexed a can of helium."
Though Deadpool does love to poke fun at celebrities, it's also worth noting that his movies (and marketing) also like to make fun of Ryan Reynolds himself. Not only does Beckham demand an apology for Green Lantern, but he also wants apologies for RIPD, Blade: Trinity, and a bunch of other movies. They even poke fun of one of Reynolds' earlier projects from 2000—Boltneck.
With David Beckham and Hugh Jackman helping push the marketing for this film, I can't help but think we're going to get some gratuitous celebrity cameos in the movie. I don't know if you'd read anything about Stan Lee's situation lately, but I bet he's going to appear in this movie too.
