Deadpool 2: Ryan Reynolds Promises Josh Brolin Is An 'Epic' Cable

A lot of fans are excited for the release of Deadpool 2, and one of the reasons will be because of the introduction of fan-favorite mutant Cable who will be played by Josh Brolin. Though we haven't had an official reveal yet, Ryan Reynolds promises a lot of fans will be pleased with what Brolin has to deliver.

Talking to Fandango, Reynolds says:

"I think it's going to be very interesting. I've spent this last week on the business end of many Josh Brolin punches. Both verbal and physical and literal and it's going to be pretty fantastic. He's going to be epic. He's going to be an epic Cable."

It's been said that the movie will be altering Cable's origin for the movie as his backstory in the comics can get a tad complicated. That's what happens when X-Men starts messing with timelines. Thanks a lot, Days of Future Past.

Besides Deadpool, the only character we have a new look of is Zazie Beetz's luck-altering mutant Domino. Some people have been complaining because of the fact that Beetz is an African-American actress playing the role of someone who, in the comics, is albino white. I for one, think she'll do a great job, and skin color really doesn't matter as long as the character is done with justice.

Deadpool 2 comes out June 1, 2018.
