Deadpool 2: Josh Brolin Talks About Working With Ryan Reynolds

Though Josh Brolin may be playing Thanos for the MCU, he's also onboard the Deadpool sequel to play fan favorite mutant, Nathan Summers a.k.a. Cable. Brolin will be working alongside star Ryan Reynolds who is also producing the movie, and Brolin had nothing but nice things to say about his co-star.

In an interview with EW, Brolin says:

"He's an amazing guy, very smart and really sweet — and really handsome. He's a smart guy, he's the one who saw this and tried to get this movie made for eight years and was unable to. I think he has such a perfect sensibility. He's a great producer on it, there's a lot to trust there."

Before the first Deadpool came out, it was publicly known that Reynolds was trying desperately to get the project off the ground. Like Brolin said, Deadpool went through development hell, but everything paid off in the end when the movie was released and is now known as the most successful R-rated film of all time.

As of now, we still have no idea what the story of Deadpool 2 will be about. What we do know is that Cable and Domino will be making their first onscreen appearances in this movie, and we'll also have returning characters like Weasel, Blind Al, Dopinder the cab driver, and Vanessa.

Deadpool 2 is set for a release on June 1, 2018.
