Deadpool 2's just a little bit over a month away from its release date and it looks like 20th Century Fox is busy adding steam to the film's marketing.
Not only do fans have new posters for the highly anticipated sequel to the Merc with A Mouth's R-Rated movie, but it looks like there's a new TV spot for Deadpool 2.
Serving as a more compact version of the first trailer for Deadpool 2, the new TV spot gives an outline of what's going to happen in the film.
In Deadpool 2, the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) and a group of other mutants come together to protect a young mutant (Julian Dennison) from Cable (Josh brolin). Cable is a mutant soldier from the future who travels to the past to do away with Dennison's fiery mutant. Though the original synopsis for Deadpool 2 doesn't really make that much sense, it's likely that leaving the young boy alive actually brings about the dystopian world that Cable comes to know in the future.
Hoping to become a better wisecrack, Deadpool gathers his X-Force to stop Cable from cutting down the young mutant.

After surviving anear fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor - finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover.
Deadpool 2 premieres May 18.
