DC Studios' plan for Matt Reeves' The Batman film franchise spells good news for fans who enjoyed Robert Pattinson's more grounded take on the character. In case you haven't heard yet, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO doesn't want multiple actors playing Batman in the "new" DC Universe and the idea of Pattinson becoming the franchise's main Dark Knight has reportedly been discussed.

It's worth mentioning that WB Discovery has yet to give The Batman 2 the green light but fans are already suggesting ideas for the sequel's big bad. Obviously, Joker seems to be a no-brainer at this point but considering how the first film featured a slew of villains — from Catwoman to Riddler, the idea of the next one having more than one antagonist makes sense.

Now, according to the DCU fandom, one actor deserves to get cast in The Batman 2, potentially as one of Battinson's foes and it's none other than Taylor Lautner. Many believe that the 30-year-old star would be the perfect actor to play Hush in the next film.

Of course, there's no shortage of history between Robert and Taylor who burst into the scene through the successful Twilight saga. Check out some of the tweets below:

While I think it's still a little too early to introduce Hush to the fold, I think Lautner would fit the character, especially given his history with Pattinson. Maybe he can play Thomas Elliot in the next film and officially take on the mantle of Hush in the third sequel. The Batman already teased the inevitable clash between the caped crusader and the Clown Prince of Crime anyway.

The Batman is streaming on HBO Max.
