DC's The Batman Who Laughs is Now Available in Graphic Novel Form

After exploding in popularity during Dark Nights: Metal, The Batman Who Laughs became the next must-read series from celebrated writer Scott Snyder. This seven-issue mini-series was a fascinating journey for Batman, fighting someone who thinks like himself and The Joker, making him The Batman Who Laughs an incredibly deadly opponent. Fans who want to experience this journey again or for the first time can now do so, with the collected edition now available where books are sold.

The Batman Who Laughs hardcover collects the seven-issue mini-series, as well as the one-shot The Batman Who Laughs: Grim Knight #1. If we had one complaint about this graphic novel, it's that they don't add Dark Nights: The Batman Who Laughs, which details how this sick version of Batman came to be. Admittedly, that one-shot is in Dark Nights: Metal - Dark Knights Rising, so that little debacle has been solved.

If you're a fan of Scott Snyder's Batman run then this series is a must-have since it's one of his final tales with Bruce Wayne. After this, he started working on Batman: Last Knighton Earth, which is expected to be his coup de grace for the character. We're only two issues in thus far, with the final one scheduled for a November release.

While I thought Dark Nights: Metal was a bit too chaotic, the series was a pretty wild ride and one that showed how much he loved DC's lore. If you've already read Metal, then you need to do yourself a favor and check out The Batman Who Laughs.

The Batman Who Laughs graphic novel is available now, wherever books and graphic novels are sold.
