DC Fans Might See Delayed Release of Justice League’s Snyder Cut

DC fans might have been waiting for the Snyder Cut of Justice League for years but it looks like they have to wait even longer with the spread of the novel coronavirus making a major impact on the entertainment industry.

While there have been reports that the Snyder Cut of Justice League may very well end up on HBO Max when the streaming site is launched in May, a new report by Cosmic Book News suggests that fans might see a delay in the release of the movie.

Justice League director Zack Snyder decided to post a new image taken from his cut of the movie, and on his post a fan asked whether the film had completed CGI. According to the filmmaker a lot of the CGI had already been completed on his version of the movie, though he admits that he "still has some work to do" on the Snyder Cut.

This means that Snyder Cut hasn't been officially completed just yet. We can't entirely be sure when and where Snyder might release the film, but we're hoping that we get a chance to see Snyder's version of the movie.

Premiering in November in 2017, Justice League did poorly among critics. It didn't fare so well at the box office either, raking one of the lowest box office hauls in the DCEU. Fans attribute the film's failings to studio interference. Snyder left the production of the film during reshoots so that he could mourn the loss of his daughter and so WB decided to bring in Avengers director Joss Whedon to replace most of the footage in the film. Unfortunately, Wheedon's humor didn't really fit with the movie.
