DC Comics 'Love is Love' Anthology Will Have February Signing

DC Comics and IDW Comics 'Love is Love' anthology was recently released to great success and now a signing is being held, Newsarama reports. The anthology was first organized by Marc Andreyko. Proceeds related to the anthology will benefit the victims of the homophobia-fueled Orlando shooting.

Several of the creators who worked on the anthology will congregate for a signing at Escape Pod Comics, a New York comics retailer. It was organized by Tee Franklin, who also contributed a story to the anthology. The event will be held on Febuary 15, from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. EST.

Other creators appearing at the event in addition to Franklin include Chris Miskiewicz, Jeffrey Burandt, and Isaac Goodhart. Appearances by other artists are currently being negotiated. Escape Pod Comics has stated that 15% of the proceeds from this event will go to Equality Florida to benefit Orlando shooting victims, while all the proceeds of the comic are being donated to the same organization.

Escape Pod Comics can be found at 302 Main Street in Huntington Village, New York.

It's great that the comic is doing well and raising needed donations. I'm too far away to attend the event, but I hope anyone who can does, as its for a good cause. Epicstream readers, let us know if any of you are attending!
