Now that House of X and Powers of X are finished, we've officially entered the Dawn of X era for the X-Men. This means new X-Men comics, with Marvel releasing the first issues of the six new books from October to November. If you're a sensible fan who thinks that this is too much for your wallet, you're in luck; Marvel has announced Dawn of X Vol. 1, which will collect all of the first issues from these new X-Men comics.
According to Newsarama, Dawn of X Vol. 1 will collect X-Men #1, Marauders #1, Excalibur #1, New Mutants #1, X-Force #1, and Fallen Angels #1. This is really interesting since it has us wondering if future Dawn of X volumes will collect the issues that follow the ones above which will make for some oddball collecting.
We're also getting a Wolverine #1 in 2020 so one has to wonder how many Dawn of X graphic novels will be made. Marvel's definitely going to release individual volumes of these comics so these collections might just be a novelty. Then again, if they take off, this would be a fun way to collect these comics, especially if each issue is actually a one-shot (which is doubtful).
Marvel will be releasing Dawn of X Vol. 1 will be coming out this February.
