David Harbour Shares Disappointment Over Black Widow Premiere Delay

In case you missed it, we won't be able to watch Black Widow in theaters this year. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick has been pushed back to premiere next year. Not surprisingly, David Harbour isn't very happy about the delay and the Stranger Things star revealed why he is so disappointed with the pushback.

Harbour took to his official Instagram account to share his thoughts on the Black Widow delay and interestingly, it has a lot to do with his character Red Guardian. Take a look at the post below.

"Sorry. You're gonna have to wait till May 2021 before you can pop a straw thru my helmeted head and sip your Diet Coke, and marvel (get it, get it) at how the RG packs his whole overly fleshy self into that super suit," Harbour wrote. He then added the hashtags #blackwidow, #leakedmerchpics, #wearamask, and #notlikethisonethough.

It's great to see that Harbour can still stay cheerful despite the disappointing news. On the other hand, some believe that the delay could be an advantage for Disney and Marvel Studios considering that things will be safer for cinemas in the future. Here's hoping that the world will be free of COVID-19 by the time Black Widow hits theaters in 2021.

Black Widow will also star Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, and Rachel Weisz. The film was initially set to premiere in November but will now hit theaters on May 7, 2021.
