David Ayer Teases Jared Leto's Joker has Bigger Role in Suicide Squad Ayer Cut

It looks like David Ayer is still determined to bring his original vision for Suicide Squad into theaters. The Bright director has just teased on Jared Leto having a larger role as the Joker in the Ayer Cut of the DC Extended Universe flick.

Ayer has always been vocal about how Warner Bros. released a theatrical cut of Suicide Squad that barely resembled what he had originally envisioned for the film. With the success of Zack Snyder getting a director's cut of Justice League, Ayer has been campaigning for the chance to release the Ayer Cut of his own movie. With that in mind, it's no surprise that the filmmaker has been actively responding to fans who ask about his version of the DCEU film.

One fan recently reached out to Ayer asking if Leto "was better than the theatrical cut of Suicide Squad" because they "just want to see it." The End of Watch director retweeted the post with a short but promising response. Check it out below.

We're pretty sure that Ayer is as good as he promises considering that his previous works have always been amazing. However, Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed if the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad is actually happening so it may take some time before we find out for sure.

Do you think David Ayer should be allowed to release the original director's cut of Suicide Squad? Sound off in the comments below.
