It seems like almost every actor in Hollywood wants to become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and unsurprisingly, Dave Franco is one of them. Of course, we all know that his older brother James Franco is one of the pioneers of the modern-day Marvel film franchise, appearing in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy long before the inception of Marvel Studios.
Speaking with ComicBook to promote his Netflix film Day Shift with Jamie Foxx who recently made his triumphant return as Electro, James' younger brother expressed his interest in joining the billion-dollar franchise.
When asked by correspondent Chris Killian about the potential of playing the role that his brother first took on twenty years ago, he had this to say: "You tell me. You know this world better than us. That's treading in a territory that'd be a little tricky. You know what you're saying when you say that. [laughs]"

It's already a no-brainer for a character like Harry Osborn to appear in the franchise given his long history with Peter Parker across several Spidey mediums. However, considering Earth-616 Peter already crossed paths with the villainous Norman Osborn, it'll be interesting to see if the MCU will somehow tweak the backstory of the Osborns and somehow portray them as protagonists, especially the would-be Green Goblin.
As it stands, we still don't know what kind of adventure is in store for Tom Holland's friendly neighborhood web-slinger but it seems like he'll return to his roots as a street-level superhero.
Meanwhile, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are cooking up a fourth Spider-Man film.
