Dave Bautista Unsure About Working with Disney After James Gunn Firing

James Gunn getting fired by Disney from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was one hell of debacle, and now the movie has been put on an indefinite hold. One of Gunn's most vocal supporters, Dave Bautista, had said that he would do what he was contractually obligated to do for the movie, but with the film's status, it looks like he may actually not return.

Taking during The Jonathan Ross Show, Bautista says:

"Yeah, there's a bit of an issue. It's a bittersweet conversation. No, it's a bitter-bitter conversation because I'm not really happy with what they've done with James Gunn. They're putting the movie off - it's on hold indefinitely - and, to be honest with you, I don't know if I wanna work for Disney. You know, I've been very vocal about the way I feel, and I'm not afraid to admit how I feel."

It has been confirmed that Marvel Studios is planning to use most of Gunn's script, but if Bautista would go out of the picture, we could be looking at a whole new rewrite. Personally, I think Bautista should just do his job and finish the role. After all, if Gunn had a planned ending for Drax, wouldn't it be travesty to not see it happen onscreen?

Like states earlier, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been put on hold, which is a real bummer considering that it was supposed to set the tone for Marvel Phase 4. I'm crossing my fingers that this hold on GOTG is just a way to re-hire Gunn after all this commotion dies down.

Then again, I could be wrong.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has no release date.
