Darth Vader Faces [SPOILER] During His Visit to Padme’s Tomb

Darth Vader is on a quest on Naboo to seek revenge against those who kept him from his son, Luke Skywalker as well as find out how his wife, Padmé Amidala, died. However, his journey to seek the truth includes violence and proves to be bittersweet.

SPOILERS FOR DARTH VADER #4 AHEAD!

In StarWars.com's preview for Marvel's Darth Vader #4, Sabé's revenge plot to kill the Sith Lord is in full swing. Darth Vader and the Deathtroopers got out of the Gungan trap and fought Naboo citizens, finally stumbling upon Padmé's tomb.

However, as the Sith Lord takes it all in, staring at his wife's tomb, Sabé and her handmaidens show up and are ready to fight. "You cannot… You will not desecrate this grave," she told Vader. "So swear the handmaidens of Amidala." You can check out some of the previews below!

It remains to be seen whether or not Vader will get to discover some answers on Padme's place of rest, and what kind of secret actually lies there. The handmaidens are certainly honorable for doing their best to defend Padmé's tomb against Vader, however, it'll likely end up in a losing battle for the group, with the Sith Lord having to kill the person that resembles his wife to get what he's looking for.
