Darth Vader Actor Joins The Cast of Han Solo Film

Spencer Wilding, the actor who played Darth Vader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has joined the cast of the untitled Han Solo Star Wars film. It was announced when his appearance at the Fandom Fest Convention was cancelled. The convention will take place on July 28-30 and Kentucky but the actor won't appear at the event. Here's the Fandom Fest website's reason regarding Wilding's cancelled appearance:

Spencer Wilding will be unable to attend as he will be filming the newest film in the Star Wars Universe. Spencer will be coming back next year.

Since Ron Howard's young Han Solo standalone film is the only Star Wars title currently being filmed, it's easy to jump to the conclusion that Wilding will play Darth Vader in the film, but it's worth noting that the actor has also portrayed various other characters across several propoerties, so it's likely that he will play a completely different character in the movie.
