Darth Mace Windu Looks Killer in Star Wars Concept Art

Over the years, art from Star Wars: Battlefront 4 has given Star Wars fans an idea of what the Jedi and Sith might look like if they took each other's place. Not only has concept art from the canceled Star Wars videogame given fans a look at Dark Side Luke Skywalker and redeemed Darth Vader, but it's given fans a look at what the other major Jedi and Sith Lords would look like if they had been in the position of the other.

Interestingly enough, one of the art pieces that stands out the most is Darth Mace Windu. Comic Book Review managed to dig up the concept design for Darth Mace Windu in Battlefront 4, and boy does the Jedi look good as a Sith Lord.

Not only does his violet saber scream Dark Side, but the facial designs for Wind give him a rough, tribal look. He also has an outfit that complements the electrical lightsaber that he's wearing.

These are pretty great designs on their own, however, the coolest version of Darth Mace Windu is one that looks like the Jedi was revived after his death in Revenge of the Sith and then brought to the Dark Side.

Not only is the design made fascinating by injuries that look like they're been kept in place by robotics, but by kyber crystals sticking out of his face.

It's such a shame that Star Wars: Battlefront 4 never came to fruition. Fans would have loved the game.

We wonder whether Lucasfilm would ever explore the same kind of concept in a future series, the same way Marvel is exploring alternate realities in the What If....? animated series.
