For the past few weeks, DC and Marvel fans have been busy debating which big villain would win in a fight, DC's Darkseid, or Marvel's Infinity Stone-wearing Mad Titan, Thanos.
Cosmic Book News just recently ran a poll, and it looks like the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips is winning the fight. According to the poll's results, 60% of the 5000 fans who answered the poll decided to vote for Darkseid. Only 40% of the participants decided to cast their bet on Marvel's Mad Titan.
Both characters are pretty powerful in their own universes, and it can be pretty hard trying to decipher which one is actually the strongest. Some would choose Darkseid because of his Multiversal quality and because his powers aren't restricted to one universe. According to the fans rooting for Darkseid, the Omega Beaming DC villain would easily defeat the Mad Titan seeing how his base power is just as powerful as a version of Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. Not to mention that Darkseid has the anti-life equation.
There are some fans who still stick with Thanos despite Darkseid's abilities. Some people have been writing in the comment section of the poll saying that they would root for Thanos all the way because they like how the Mad Titan constantly tries to obtain cosmic power. Others say that Thanos would never die because, in the comics, he has Death on his side. Others yet believe that Thanos would win simply because he's smarter than Darkseid.
