Daredevil's Charlie Cox Reportedly to Play Two Characters in the MCU

Charlie Cox Reportedly to Play Daredevil For Marvel Reboot and Matt Murdock for Spider-Man 3. Now, there are reports stating that Marvel is looking at a Daredevil report. This development may lead fans to worry about Cox's involvement in Daredevil if he will still be playing Murdock.

Nonetheless, in a decision that may keep fans happy, Cox will reportedly still play the Daredevil. One would probably assume that if Cox will reprise his role, perhaps the opportunity can also be passed down to the other cast members like Vincent D'Onofrio.

There is no word or update on whether Karen or Foggy will come back to the reported reboot. However, the idea of having a complete reboot using the premise of the Multiverse might be an indication that not everyone in Netflix's series will return to the reboot. This may irk some Daredevil fans who wanted to see the story of Bullseye when it came to a conclusion in the series' fourth season on Netflix.

As of the moment, all the reports regarding the Daredevil reboot and Cox's involvement in Spider-Man 3 as Murdock remain to be a rumor. However, it is most probable that Cox may join the Spider-Man 3 cast. Reports also claim that the actor already finished his scenes in the movie which means that his participation is not something of a major scale.

According to CBR, Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige also teased a future for the Netflix characters but still remained quiet for any potential rumors. In respect to Marvel's Netflix characters returning, Feige stated, "Everything is on the board. That's one of the fun things about the comics is that characters would appear and disappear and come and go. All of it is the inspiration for the future. There are some great characters and actors from those shows."

Meanwhile, Spider-Man 3 is set for a December 2021 release.
