Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Weighs in on She-Hulk's Meta Hallway Fight

There is little doubt that Daredevil's appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was one of the highlights of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. After all, it included what could have been another hallway fight scene that the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is known for. Not surprisingly, Charlie Cox loved that sequence as well and he admits that he was impressed with how the show referenced his cancelled Netflix Marvel series.

Charlie Cox recently spoke to Marvel about his appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and he addressed the hallway scene that was being set up in Episode 8.

"It's so cool. I read that. It was so clever. It's so clever, and it's good because it's cool because at least you've got some of it," he said.

Cox continued, "It starts, so you get to feel like, oh, cool, we've got a hallway stunt fight scene. But then there's that excellent kind of drop-the-mic moment where She-Hulk comes into the room. That was so clever."

He then concluded by praising series creator Jessica Gao for making an awesome reference to Daredevil.

"Jessica Gao is amazing. I absolutely loved working with her. I thought her scripts were sensational, and it was a real pleasure," Cox said.

It's great to know that Charlie Cox was all about the hallway scene and although it was awesome as it is, we're hoping that Daredevil gets more hallway fights in the future.

Charlie Cox is set to return as Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again, which will also bring back Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. The upcoming MCU reboot is expected to consist of 18 episodes in its first season and is set to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
