Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Denies Spider-Man: No Way Home Involvement Again

There have been rumors and speculations that Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/Daredevil will be making an appearance in the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor has been continuously denying it and, recently, he once again addressed the rumor which would hopefully settle down all the whispers among the fandom (at least for now).

In an interview with Forbes, the actor was asked again about the rumors regarding his reprisal of the character in the upcoming MCU film.

"My answer is no comment; I don't know what's going to happen. I genuinely don't know," Cox answered. "If there was a chance of that happening in the future, I don't want to say something that could potentially jeopardize those chances. The people high up at Marvel, maybe they see this stuff or they hear what I say or blah, blah, blah... maybe that influences it. I don't know, I have no idea. I love how passionate the fans are and I feel very, very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about their desire for me to come back, and maybe in the future that might happen, and that would be great. Who knows? We'll see."

Once again, Cox has denied that he is going to make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, he was able to express his interest in playing the character again if ever he would be given the opportunity. But if it's true that he will play Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the upcoming MCU film, of course, he would deny it at the moment and we know how strict Marvel is when it comes to spoilers. We will find out the truth eventually whether it's in another trailer or when we watch the film itself.

This is not the first time that Cox has denied the rumors. When fans speculated that his "forearm" made an appearance in the trailer, he was able to quickly confirm that it wasn't from him. At the end of the day, if Cox does make an appearance in the film, fans will surely be delighted as it would mark his debut in the official MCU canon.
