Daredevil Season 3: Charlie Cox Confirms New Hallway Fight Scene

It looks like Matt Murdock will be back in the hallway soon. Charlie Cox has just confirmed that Daredevil Season 3 will pay homage to the iconic hallway fight scene from the first season.

Cox is currently promoting his new film King of Thieves but still manages to answer some questions about his Netflix series. The Stardust actor revealed to Yahoo! that he is proud of one particular sequence in the third season.

"The one thing that I am excited about is that we do have a scene in the show that is an homage to the corridor scene from Series 1. I'm very excited about the fans to see that," Cox stated.

Daredevil fans know exactly what Cox means with "the corridor scene." In the second season of Season 1, Matt goes into a Russian mob den to rescue a little boy. He takes on several gangsters in an epic three-minute, single-shot sequence that became one of the cornerstones of the Marvel series. A longer, bloodier scene was shot for the second season but it didn't quite have the same stunning effect as the original sequence.

It's good to know that Daredevil Season 3 is going back to the basics that made the show's first season so awesome. Needless to say, we can expect a truly amazing comeback for the Man Without Fear later this year.

Netflix has not yet announced the Daredevil Season 3 premiere date. Nevertheless, the series is expected to air before the end of 2018.
