Danny Trejo Defeats Christopher Lee as Most Killed Actor in Hollywood

Being an actor can be a difficult job especially when you have to play someone who dies over and over again. But which actor has died the most in the films? If you're betting on Sean Bean, you've guessed wrong. That feat belongs to Danny Trejo, who has defeated the late Christopher Lee for the title.

A new infographic from Buzz Bingo has ranked the Top 10 Actors By Total Number of On-Screen Deaths and the Machete star has taken the top spot with a staggering 65 movie deaths. Lee is a close second at 60 movie deaths in his long career.

So is Bean in third place? Amazingly, the Game of Thrones actor isn't even in the Top 10. Lance Henriksen takes third place with 51 movie deaths followed by Vincent Prince (41), Dennis Hopper (41), Boris Karloff (41), John Hurt (39), Bela Lugosi (36), Tom Sizemore (36) and Eric Roberts (35). It looks like Bean will need to work harder (or die harder?) in his future films.

Trejo has appeared over 250 films and TV shows where his characters usually end up dead. He's been killed in various creative ways in movies like Con Air, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Anaconda, The Replacement Killers, Death Wish IV, 3-Headed Shark Attack, Zombie Hunter, Bulletproof, The Book of Life, xXx, Predators, The Hidden, Heat, Reindeer Games, Haunted High, and 3 from Hell.

Although his characters usually get killed, Trejo's character in Machete is still very much alive and is expected to get yet another sequel soon. Or at least, we hope.
