Daniel Radcliffe Doesn’t Want To Be Marvel’s New Wolverine

Ever since Disney acquired 21st Century Fox and the studio's various film and television assets, Marvel fans have been wondering when exactly the X-Men might find their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and who would play Wolverine.

Sure, it might be hard to imagine anyone else playing James Hewlett outside of Hugh Jackman, but the actor's stood his ground on his decision to hang up his Wolverine claws after he starred in the swan song movie, Logan. Fans have been looking at other stars that would suit the role, and that includes Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe. Unfortunately, the British actor doesn't seem to be all that interested in the role.

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo! Movies to help promote his role in Playmobil: The Movie, Radcliffe decided to address fans wanting him to become Marvel's new Wolverine. According to the Imperium Star, his height might make him an ideal candidate for the Wolverine role, however, his affection for the X-Men movies make him less inclined to appear in a Marvel reboot.

"Most of the films that I love I don't think I would want to see remade," Radcliffe told the publication "And I certainly don't think that I would want to be in the remakes of them."

It's such a shame though. Not only does his height make him an ideal candidate as Marvel's new Logan, but he also has the jaws and the face for it too.

Radcliffe is set to return to the big screen as the overconfident secret agent Rex Dasher in Playmobil: The Movie which releases on August 9, 2019.
