Avengers: Endgame Directors Reveal Their Favorite Dungeons and Dragons Campaign

It's not exactly surprising to know that Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame, are kind of geeks. The two have expressed their love for Marvel in the past, even wanting to work on a full-on Secret Wars film. During a Reddit AMA, the two answered plenty of questions from fans and one of them is going to please table-top gamers.

When the two were asked about what they do when trying to "kick back and relax," the two brought up how they love replaying Lost Mines of Phandelver, a popular campaign from Dungeons and Dragons. It's cool to know that the two brothers dedicate some of their time to play a cool table-top game, though the factoid isn't too surprising since they are geeks.

Considering their love for Dungeons and Dragons, it's a shame that they won't be involved with the upcoming film reboot. Then again, they already have a number of projects lined up, like the adaptation for Battle of the Planets. Still, it would have been interesting to see what they would have imagined for the film, though it would have been hard since DnD campaigns depend a lot on imagination and a good dungeon master.

Avengers: Endgame is currently available on digital services, with the Blu-Ray and DVD coming out on Aug. 13.
