Daniel Craig Gave Farewell Speech as James Bond After No Time to Die Ended Filming


The upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die will be Daniel Craig's final outing as 007, a role that he played since 2006's Casino Royale. Expectations are high for his last ride as the world's most famous secret agent and his performance of the character has been loved by fans. Some even consider him as the best 007 actor.

After No Time to Die finished filming, Craig gave an emotional farewell speech to the cast and crew. You can watch the clip released by Filmthusiast here.

Craig said, "A lot of people here worked on five pictures with me. And I know there's a lot of things said about what I think about these films or all of those whatever. But I've loved every single second of these movies, and especially this one because I've gotten up every morning and I've had the chance to work with you guys. And that has been one of the greatest honors of my life."

It's clear here that Craig had a wonderful time playing the character and he enjoyed working on the films. It's also great to see that he showed his appreciation to the people he worked with. Seeing him pour with emotions in the farewell speech showed that he genuinely loved being James Bond and it's just nice to see whenever an actor expressed his love for the character that he is playing. There's no doubt that the character is his most iconic role. Fans will definitely flock to their nearest cinemas to see his last hurrah as 007.

True Detective season one director Cary Joji Fukunaga helmed the film. Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christopher Waltz, Ana de Armas, and Ralph Fiennes co-star.

The film has been hit with multiple release date delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will finally be shown in cinemas in the UK on September 30 and in the US on October 8.
