Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to conclude the Skywalker Saga, and with it, is the last time we will see the late Carrie Fisher play General Leia Organa on-screen. Not everyone had the chance to work together with someone as legendary as Fisher. Daisy Ridley, being her co-star, shares what she regrets not asking the actress before Fisher passed away.

In a recent interview with IGN, Ridley revealed that the cast has "learned more" just by "seeing how people (such as Fisher) were" instead of "what they specifically said" to them. The actress admits that she "never wanted" to be the person to ask them "like a hundred questions." Ridley says she just "went the other way" and thought that she wasn't really "fussed" about it.

"So now I look back with Carrie - and with Harrison and Mark - on questions that I wish I had asked," she added. However, she admits that she didn't want to be "that annoying person."

"I don't know! Just like, how it was, really," Ridley answered when she was asked on what kind of questions she would have asked them. "All of the stuff that we (the new cast) have gone through."

In addition, Ridley admitted that she would have liked to ask about "life things," like how things went when Fisher and the rest finished filming the original trilogies; either if they remained friends, or stayed in touch, "and how the filming experience actually was." She wanted to ask these because those are things Ridley doesn't "really know."

Ridley recalled one of the comments that left a deep impression on her which was when Fisher said "something about how she wore the gold bikini" in Return of the Jedi so that "other people wouldn't have to."

The actress also admitted that she is "always appreciative for that" because she didn't have to go through it since Fisher "paved the way." Ridley thinks she was the "badass female" in Star Wars, with all her hard work making way for Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, Keri Russel, and Naomi Ackie, amongst others.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
