It's been nearly four years since Star Wars closed out the sequel trilogy, putting an end to the entire Skywalker Saga but Daisy Ridley has managed to keep her acting career afloat. The British actress hasn't been featured in many high-profile films after her tenure as Rey Skywalker, but she has remained on the radar doing a number of independent films.

There have been persistent rumors that Daisy could be making her way back to a galaxy far, far away and last year, the 30-year-old star fueled speculation about her comeback on more than one occasion.

Now, Ridley is once again speaking out regarding her potential return to the franchise that pretty much launched her Hollywood career. Speaking with IMDb at Sundance's Acura Festival Village, Ridley said she's open to conversations with Lucasfilm regarding a potential return as Rey Skywalker, joking that she doesn't want to be on the unemployment line.

Daisy said: "I mean, I'm open to a phone call. I'm looking for employment!"

Last month, Ridley once again sparked rumors that she's returning to Star Wars after being spotted at Lucasfilm's headquarters but sadly, the actress confirmed that she was only there for a lunch visit and nothing more.

While her claims may be true, the fact that she has kept the communication lines open with the production company pretty much tells you that a return to Star Wars isn't something that is completely out of the window. It's only a question of when and not much of a how so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
