Last night, Daisy Ridley had everybody chatting about her Star Wars Easter egg at the Oscars when she walked down the red carpet with a Rey-inspired bun. Now, the English actress is hitting headlines once again after her interview with Josh Horowitz of MTV.
Ridley enthusiastically talked about Star Wars: Episode VIII as well as doing scenes with Mark Hamill (Master Jedi Luke Skywalker). In fact, she sounded so excited, one would think the actress is way more thrilled than fans.

...he’s (Mark) amazing to rehearse with and I’m very excited to do the rest of the stuff. It’s such a good story, seriously, Luke is so cool in this one, really!

Her tone at “It’s such a good story...” just got me. I think her interview spoke for the movie itself already.
From what Ridley said, it appears Luke will be getting more screen time in Star Wars: Episode VIII. This interview is also most of what we’ve heard about the film so far. I can’t wait to hear more of Luke’s role. Hopefully, more details about Episode VIII will be announced soon.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is slated for release on December 15, 2017.
