The Rise of Skywalker's release is more than a week away and Star Wars fans can't wait to see the final installment of the Skywalker Saga. And although the premiere's just around the corner, some people can't seem to move on from the previous sequel trilogy movies, and Daisy Ridley offers her two cents on the matter.

In a recent interview with Stylist, the actress talked about the changes that she has noticed in her life ever since playing the lead role, Rey, in The Force Awakens. At one point in the interview, Ridley was asked if it was "hard" to hear about other people's opinions about the movies "all the time." To which she responded, "Definitely."

She then recalled a time where an Uber driver just told her "casually" that he didn't like the last film. "Like thanks dude," Ridley said, "I worked on that for six months."

She also mentioned that people get more "comfortable" with expressing their negative opinions to her in "a friendly way." Recalling a time where she attended a friend's birthday party and one guy says to her that The Force Awakens "was basically" Return of the Jedi. "I was like, dude, I've met you three times," she said.

"Also, I didn't ask!" Ridley exclaimed. She then said that people should put their comments on social media where she "can't read it." However, she also pointed out that people are "weird" on social media. "Why do we all have to have such a loud opinion about something?" Ridley said. She thinks that people should just watch a film, go to a cafe, and talk about it instead of "immediately spewing things online."

Of course, there are Star Wars fans that would agree with Ridley's comments, but others, not so much. Personally, although people are free to say their opinions, it isn't exactly nice to say it to someone's face that you hated their movie, especially since they have put a lot of effort into making it.
