Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have One Absolutely Crazy Side-Quest

CD Projekt Red's highly-anticipated RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will feature an epic story, and players will have different paths based on the choices they make. The game will also have some exciting side-quests that they can take in the futuristic Night City, and according to level designer Max Pears, there's one side-quest in the game that players will probably be talking about. During an interview with Videogamechronicle, he talked about the crazy side-quest but didn't reveal any spoilery details about what it entails.

"I can't give details, but before we came out here, we were talking about one which I didn't even know we could do or why we would do it!," Pears told Videogameschronicle. "I wish I could talk about it, because honestly there's one side-quest – and believe me when I say, you'll know it when you see it – of absolute craziness. There are some fantastic interactions of not just the levels but the characters that you meet."

Pears went on to talk about the exciting experiences of the game's side-quests: "Working with some of the quest and narrative designers, they've had lots of fun with this," he said. "There's one that I've just finished working on and it's just such a great quest in terms of the experience that you're going to go through. There's going to be side activities like racing, the boxing bots… there are a lot of different activities that you're going to be able to go through."

I can't wait to find out what the crazy side-quest will be like. It's probably something we've never seen in an RPG before. CD Projekt has definitely put a lot of planning to create this game, and I'm sure they will have a lot of big surprises for us to experience.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020.
