Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Again to December

CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated games of the year, and though it was expected to come out next month, it looks like fans will have to wait an extra 21 days.

As announced on their social media, CD Projekt Red has opted once again to delay Cyberpunk 2077. Here's the announcement:

Reading the announcement, it looks like the studio going to be spending the time tweaking Cyberpunk so it will be ready to launch for both the current gen of consoles as well as next-gen engines like the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5. At this point, it actually lines up with rumors that devs have been asked once again to do crunch time for the game; while I certainly hope that isn't true, a delay is the more sensible way to go about things.

At this point, this is the third time that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed for the year, and though a lot of people will definitely be pissed that isn't happening, we should take note that these delays are made for the good of the workers. Personally I would prefer waiting long for a completed game than getting something on time that was built on the backs of people lacking sleep and not getting paid for overtime.

For now, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on Dec. 10 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
