You have to love Miller’s enthusiasm for the role. While a lot of people like to scoff at the campiness of The CW shows, they admittedly have their own following, and Miller himself is just happy to be part of the franchise.
Miller’s cameo wasn’t only for himself as well. He made it a point to mention “Victor” as in Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg. With no idea when Ray Fisher will reprise the role, it’s great that Miller is reminding the audience that Cyborg still exists in his universe. Fingers crossed he makes a cameo in The Flash; heck, give him a supporting role.
Despite the major delays that have been plaguing the Flash movie, Miller is still onboard as Barry Allen, even going so far as to make his own script with Geoff Johns. It seems like WB didn’t go forward with the script, but there seems to be a new understanding when it comes to director Andy Muschietti (IT) taking on the project.
As for Grant Gustin, he still looks to have a couple more years of playing the Flash. Then again, Stephen Amell finally put the Green Arrow role to rest, maybe Gustin could be moving on to a better role soon enough.
Catch The Flash on CW, while The Flash movie set in the DCEU is set for a release on July 1, 2022.
